In the search for self realization I see my goals in the distance...
...
and so I rush and burn every moment as a passing fact
almost as an impediment
or in the best case scenario as preparatory
for a better and grander happening to take place
and finally
be all that I long to be
in the meantime I'm excited and filled up with meaning
once, twice, three times and more times until...
the engine stops and I fall
beaten
wondering what to do now...
But wait!
I'm still here... and if I'm here, what is it that has fallen then?
My "self"...
Yes my "self"!
Not me,
and in that realization I see that in that fall
this moment is no longer a bridge to the next
the need of becoming is no longer a need,
time no longer exists
all there is
is me,
the now.
