A nicely dressed man was talking to himself, lost in his thoughts.
We spoke,
two perfect strangers living in a crowded city
commuting back from work
we shared a moment
beyond the barriers of suspicion
not a problem was resolved
but a connection was established
isolation is as true as the noise we believe in.
We said goodbye and never met since
he thanked me
and I couldn't even begin to explain to him that back then, I didn't have a home to go back to, and as lost as he was, he saved me.
We are much larger than the conditions we live in.
Why I’m posting this picture to this content is beyond me.
